This 114 acre property lies to the south and east of Neillsville. There is a large ridge in the Southeast corner that combined with a tag alder thicket to the north creates a great pinch point. The current owners have had many years of success using this to their advantage. A small cabin on the North end of the property is heated with a wood stove to provide a warm place to stay for those cold fall weekends.
A walking trail will lead you to all the deer stands and as you approach the South end of the property there is an old logging road you can hook into. This property becomes even larger considering it is bordered on the North and West by Clark County forest and on the South by Jackson County forest.
Hunting is not all this property has to offer! Most of the area roads also double as ATV trails so you are able to ride all day. The nearby Black River provides a great fishing opportunity as well as a great place to do some kayaking/canoeing. Sherwood Lake, a 117 acre lake that is 9 ft. deep, is located just east of the property and is home to Northern, Large-mouth Bass, and Panfish.
